Review: Tantus Compact

I've changed sites. Click here to read my Tantus Compact review at elodieonlove.com.

The Tantus Compact is my favorite sex toy. I'm tempted to just write, "go get this right now, you want it," but of course, I don't know that you'll love it like I do. We're all different. So here's the rundown:

Like all Tantus toys, the Compact is made of 100% body-safe silicone. It's got a small, 1 1/2 inch diameter base, for use as a handle or in a harness with a small o-ring. This base and silicone material, which can be disinfected, also make it safe for anal use.

The Compact is curved and slim, with about 1/2 inch diameter. Don't judge it by its size; this little toy packs more punch than you might expect. It has a firm, though not stiff, head for g-spotting and the little ripples along its shaft feel amazing as it moves in and out. The smooth, silky texture makes for comfortable insertion and thrusting, and allows the ridges and head to take center stage.

This dildo is flexible, but not at all floppy. I think of it as springy. It will conform to your body while maintaining enough stiffness for stimulation. By bending the Compact just slightly, I can get its head to hit my g-spot while the shaft strokes my clitoris, and the ripples play on my vaginal entrance. I also like to use the Compact as an external toy, for pressure and rubbing.

The Compact hones in on my g-spot like it was made for me, and, with its flexibility and comfortable internal feel, it could be the toy that helps you find yours. You can move it inside you, searching for a long time, without discomfort. The stimulation the ridges give should also help make your g-spot more sensitive. I've had plenty of g-spot orgasms, but the Compact gave me my first g-spot ejaculation

Other awesome stuff about this toy: My boyfriend can use the Compact on me without fear of accidentally hurting me. I take it into the shower, and with some Maximus water-based lube, it slides in easily, and I don't have to contort myself and risk breaking my neck. It's not expensive. I love the pearl pink color, but it also comes in hot red and stylish black. This is the dildo I recommend for anyone wanting their first insertable toy, or first insertion at all.

I use my Tantus Compact every day. I'm in love.

How to care for a silicone toy: wash it with warm soap and water before and after use. It can be disinfected with a 10% bleach solution or, if there are no vibrating/electric elements, by boiling or by running it through the dishwasher on the top rack, minus soap. Store so that it's not touching other toys. I wrap mine in microfiber cloth and stick them in ziploc bags. Silicone toys react badly with most silicone lubes. Run a patch test before risking your toy with a silicone lubricant, or just be safe and use a water-based lubricant.

  3. I love mine too! It was actually one of my first toys and still one of my favorites even though it is the smallest. I reviewed it on my blog as well :)
